This will help figure out what's wrong. If the sub is making bad noises from the woofer or passive radiator then there is either something wrong with it or you are just overdriving it. If this is the case you'll need a bigger and/or better sub.
If the sub is actually moving/bouncing.... strange. It should be heavy enough to keep itself from moving. Are you on a hard floor?
