Interesting, but on my receiver I do not have any other video source hooked up, just the DVD player. The DVD player sends a video signal via an DVI cable directly to the plasma. DVD player has been slightly modifiec by the addition os ERS in order to reduce the RFI and it works in a significantly noticeable way.
I am using the Audit and Tactic on the digital output to the receiver, whioch is the only connection from the DVD player to the receiver. The receiver and DVD player are on separate PLC's.
So it seems that by your theorizing the breaking of the ground is the most important part. Somehow the digital talkback from the receiver may actually affecting the video quality. I will try just removing the Tactic to check.Thanks,
