Re: to subwoofer or not to subwoofer that is the question!

Hi, as for the KG4's not going deep enough, the only way to realise that would be, to borrow a sub and hear what it does in the room. However, I do think they are a good choice as mains.
The addition of a powered sub will also free the main amp of LF reproduction, and should improve mid-bass/range.
Maybe enjoy what you have for the time being, and when a deal comes along on a decent used sub, go for it.
