...you're going to be listening to much music.I'm the opposite of Late - I don't like most HT speakers playing music, so I would recommend buying dynamic *musical* speakers instead. I also think the quality of the sub is more important than the quantity. It is more important to me that a sub be quick and tuneful than just vaguely booming. I use very musical speakers (Nola Minis & Nola Thunderbolt sub) that serve well for both music and movies. (There are tons of choices both retail and on-line.)
I'd prefer the Dynaudios over the Silvers, but that's just my ears. If you really love the Silvers go for it. Personally, I would shop around and not be in too much of a hurry...but I'm guessing you're IN a hurry. ;-)
Late is right about two things - square rooms are the very devil for sound (placement and room treatment will be key); and Hsu has some great bargains in subs.
