Adcom used to make an "add on" processor which would provide (at that time) Pro Logic matrix surround using an additional amplifier. Maybe they have upgraded it to include the newer Dolby Digital and DTS surround codecs. Also there are probably other manufacturers who make a similar device. On the other hand, it might be simpler and cheaper to start from scratch and go with a multi channel receiver with all the 2006 bells and whistles.
