While at the same time saying nothing. The VHS vs Beta comparison has gooten old a long time ago. Who cares? I don't expect HD DVD/Blu-ray to replace DVDs any time soon, if ever. More likely they will be niche products. That doesn't mean one can't enjoy them. If nohing else, HD DVD players are very good DVD players. People interested in the cheapest price/lowest quality won't be interested, but then they aren't the people HD is targeted for anyway. Big surprise there.
