Dish is great....been with them for 8 years. Granted I'm in Santa Monica with about the best weather going. Can't remember the last time there was a glitch in reception. The dual DVRs are great and you don't need line of sight for the 2nd remote. I like the menu system...instantaneous with no need to update. I don't have a fancy A/V system but I do use an HDMI switch for multiple sources and some DVRs are known not to work well with these switches...but I've had no problems. No reason to change to DirecTV and I'd never go back to cable...but I don't live in snow country.
