This type of connection uses one set of pins for the chroma signal and the other set for the luma signal. Your problem stems from one or more of the following: the chroma pins on the cable are bent or not properly connected (somehow the cable was slightly pulled or shifted) or the input/output chroma pins/sleeves (on the projector, CATV or VCR) are broken.I would start with the cable. Disconnect it from the source and the projector and visually check the pins/sleeves. If all's OK, plug the cable back in and make sure it's securely connected. Turn the system back ON and see if the problem's fixed. If not, recheck the color setting in the Setup Menu on the projector. Is it where it's supposed to be?
