He-he... Steve, I think I probably should hate Tom, but I still don't. Some of his work - by all means! Let's destroy all copies of Philadelphia while AuPh is out driving!But Tom is a good comedian and he can be enjoyable.
However, for the life of me I can't understand the popularity of Benigni! He is simply a pale copy of several truly great European actors - a crossbreed between Pierre Richard and Luis De Funes. I expect the public to forget his name in just a few short years.
His "Life is Beautiful" was kaka, well worth mentioning in this thread.
Perhaps his finest moment in world cinema was the duck walk scenes in "Il Monstro"
