Scorcese's pathetic I wanna be james Ivory but manage to do it worse, isn't one of his better movies.Goodfellas is better than any and all long winded Mob Soap opera Godfather film.
Since when did humanity need to be portrayed to be "good" -- let me guess another wannabe art-house poster where if the plot is about exactly nothing but there is some pseudo whiny director contemplating his life then it's masterpiece material.
And hell I'm not a huge Scorcese lover myself - but spare us your attempt at deep thinking film criticism in little one line snippet comments --- you're learning from a few other posters here to defend art-house garbage but have nothing in the way of any real intelligeable criticism to say one way or the other on them.
I suggrest you spend your time at university taking Literature than blowing it on here trying to impress people.
