Good write up - I also enjoyed Scorpion.On a related note, what's your vote for best "BEM" (Bug-Eyed Monster) flick from the 50's? I would probably go with "The Angry Red Planet" strictly for the cheeze factor - the rat-bat-spider-crab monster has to be seen to be believed, and I also like the way the dimwitted hero calls the lead woman character "Irish" while everyone else calls her "Iris." The lame red-tint FX during the Mars scenes is the icing on the cake.
