Ghost stories are not my cup 'o tea, but I am very impressed with del Toro--more as a director. I am intrigued about The Hobbit, now that it's evident he will be directing it. He has a much more "human" and emotional touch than Jackson and I think The Hobbit may come alive as a result, in a way beyond Jackson's Rings trilogy.
