...but this movie is more of a psychological thriller, not scary. It's more about loss, the state of mind of the protagonist and how to resolve wounds of the past in the crucible of the present. It was marketed as a genre film...but it's not...not really. It's in another class from The Others and Sixth Sense. Give it a shot.Eppis had it right, this movie reminds me quite a bit of Nic Roeg's Don't Look Back. Or maybe The Innocents. While it's not as good as Roeg's masterpiece it's an excellent movie, an adult movie. A horror films it's not.
I couldn't be happier about GDT directing The Hobbit. I'm prepared to be delighted by a fresh vision. This is the right man at theright palce at the right time.
