That scene was truly horrific.
Not a masterpiece, but a sobering drink for anyone who has not been exposed to less than glamorous life in some countries.
I found the depiction of Austrian realities darker than life, most of the guy's problems being the result of his refusal to fit in and lack of discipline, not the society's fault by any stretch of imagination. He had a job he didn't want to keep... well, THAT is going to create a LOT of sympathy these days.
As I mentioned before, the Ukrainian side was totally spot on. Again, darker than average, but definitely not unusual in any sense.
Let's make Patrick watch it!
