Unlike the mass of current offerings that try and sustain pointless and senseless action over a 2-hour period, this film takes its time to make the characters known before they're killed off--- quality over quantity. This is what one would expect from film director, Steven Soderbergh: action that serves a point in the plot; some humor; not overly complicated plot that Deep Blue couldn't solve.
One drawback: the presence of the ubiquitous Michael Fassbender.
Three films w/his presence at the metroplex.
Note to Michael: seeing the same guy in a bunch of films in such a short time wrecks all the roles; viewers need time to "forget" your previous persona. He's okay, but I kept imagining him in the fuckathon, "Shame."
Anyhow, I recommend this film, just don't go expecting Bourne or Fast and Furious: this one has a more deliberate, artsy feel.
The opening scene is fantastic: settle in early and be ready for fun.
