It was a very touching film that first introduced a boy, whose life was broken. Through his eyes we learn of a man, whose life was broken. Linking them is an automaton that illuminates the purpose in both their lives. The entire film is about fixing what's broken. As I've told you before, you must lack a soul if you weren't touched.
3D or not 3D doesn't even register for me. There is much about this film that is absolutely brilliant.
