RE: Austin TX or Nashville TN for businesses & work-life balance ?

Thirty years ago I would have gladly moved (assuming company job transfer) to Austin in a heartbeat and at my own expense. Sadly, success has ruined Austin. If I were still working I would not move to Austin now even under threat of job loss.

IMO, Nashville is in the process of ruination like Austin. Success is killing it too.

So, lesser of two evils (at this moment in time) is Nashville. At least they have water there, and maybe an electrical grid that is not constantly on the brink of collapse.
