Zionism is synonymous with neither Judaism, the religion, nor the Jewish ethnic identity. Zionism is a 19th century, nationalistic ideology the advocated a colonialist enterprise that inherently violates the rights of inhabitants who have lived there continuously for 1500+ years.
After horrors of WWII and the Nazi genocide there was understandable sympathy for the Jewish people. But Zionism preexisted that early post-war area and the 'Holocaust' in no way justifies Zionism then or now.
The current, right-wing Israeli government is explicitly against recognition of a Palestinian state that rightfully would include all of the West Bank and Gaza. Such recognition would be the best hope for permanent peace and mutual security for Israelis and Palestinians, but instead the Netanyahu coalition prefers continuous oppression of Palestinians by force in the territories it illegally occupies.
Ongoing US financial & military for Israel is enabling right-wing Israelis continuing violence & oppression of Palestinians and works against a fair & just 2-state solution which the USA officially supports.
Suspend US support for the Israeli war machine immediately: to do otherwise is grossly hypocritical and works against a peaceful resolution of the region's problems.
Sadly Jazz Inmate is every bit as much a despicable bigot as the worst anti-Semites on account of his loud-spoken racial & religious contempt for Palestinians and Arabs in general.
