All new AN HE speakers trade efficiency for bass extension and partial remedy is to stick them into corners to get some sort of balance. There is no magic bullet there and it's not by DESIGN but by necessity. SET amps with loose cannon bass help as well. It's a part of factory recommended system. I would keep SF Elipsa and buy some second hand older AN speaker for home audition. They usually sell without problem if price is right.
During my audio shows going period I usually found Audio NOTE room to have the best sound and the best music selection. And lot of time it was a singular oasis in the Redneck Rivera cacophony
Part of the reason they are not cost effective company is the conviction of its chief P.Q that besides him deserving a whole stable of Mercedes Benz cars (I find nothing wrong with that) the real reason is that it's a luxury pursuit and therefore it should be expensive. Hi-FI was always expensive and it shall remain expensive.
