I enjoyed it as a ride in the theater and it had some interesting ideas -- ultimately the mystery part of the film didn't really work (though they rarely do). I think the film mostly works and had some interesting even somewhat plausible ideas. Tom Cruise bashing I don't get. While he can't carry a bad film he doesn't ruin good ones. The Sci-fi elements I remember getting much discussion at the time around the flaws. I find that always amusing since if there were NO flaws in science fiction logic it would not be a science fiction -- it would be science.Regardless the whole eyeball stuff is worth seeing this movie for all by itself. And the fish girl seeer was quite a riveting character.
I watched Catch Me if You can with the actor I normally do get annoyed by DiCaaprio -- Most passed this movie by I thought but it was rather enjoyable. I think I could watch this one more than Minority Report. What a fun little film/biopic. Christopher Walken was on in this one.
