Ivan, thanks for that link to Thomas Mayer site. Loads of really good info there. I had not known of it before.
He has a good bit of info about Compactrons, which I found particularly interesting in that my Acoustat servo-amps use 6GE5. I've never seen them mentioned, let alone dissected and discussed before.
