RE: My review of the new JJ frame grid E83CC tube

This tube is the real deal. I still use Telefunken smooth plates in the first gain stage of my phono stage, but the JJ has beaten out all comers for the second stage and are now in use in the input stage of my Rogue amp. The only new production small signal tube I have ever liked/used. Smokes the Sovtec LPS in my opinion. I have all the best 12ax7s and 5751s in my collection. The JJ E83CC is fully competitive for a lot less. Back in stock at thetubestore!
