Yes I have to mostly agree. The JJ tube certainly hangs right there toe for toe with the big boys on the block. If I'm being completely honest I still have to give the nod to the long plate Mullards having a slight edge on sound but when you compare the eye popping price difference between the 2 tubes we are talking about then it puts things in a different perspective. The long plate Mullards are selling anywhere from 150-250 depending on ring and square getter versions. That all being said you'd be hard pressed to hear a $150 difference in the Mullard tube to justify to someone who just heard the new JJ. And for most folks that's all they'd need to know on which tube to chose
