A standard length audio CD holds 650MB, but not all are that full. But just for argument's sake:650MB x 1000 is 650GB or 0.65TB.
And that's uncompressed. If you use lossless compression like FLAC or ALAC expect about 2:1 so that 650GB becomes a lowly 325GB.
Quality 1 TB SSDs are about $100 - $140
Quality 2 TB SSDs are about $200 - $240
Quality 4 TB SSDs are about $400 - $550* These are quality consumer SSDs. Enterprise class SSDs (that you don't really need) can be about double the prices shown above.
