Based on your previous post I experimented with and then last night purchased SongKong.
After I get the single folder "master" directory populated with deduped (by filename only) files - which should be almost trivial to code in powershell now that I have the file inventory in Sql Server - I will use SongKong to update the metadata for all those files.
Note that powershell *can* read the metadata in the music files, I already tested that. So if I wanted to - at the cost of execution time populating the library - I could have included that data in the Sql invnetory. And perhaps in the future I may, but I think it is not an issue for my files so I didn't bother yet.
Then last step will be to use a metadata driven music file reorganizer to physically create and populate a music folder heirarchy.
I still can't belive you have so many rips. That must be a record! You could never in one lifetime listen to every file at least once right?
